Nikola Stojanović (1880-1964) was a Serbian lawyer, journalist, and politician from Mostar. He was a prominent figure in Yugoslav unification movements, advocating for Serbian-Croatian cooperation. He authored the controversial essay "Serbs and Croats" in 1902. During World War I, he co-founded the Yugoslav Committee in Paris. Afterward, Stojanović served in various political roles, including as a deputy in Bosnia and Herzegovina's parliament. During World War II, he worked with the Yugoslav Army in the Homeland but was later imprisoned by the new Yugoslav authorities post-war. He died in Belgrade, with his final book left unpublished.
