This is an incredible anthology, in which each tale deserves its own follow-up/full-length story. In the Demon's Bargain by Nora Ash, Emma strikes a bargain with Kurt that flips both their worlds. Merel Pierce writes a thought provoking story in An Alpha For The Pack where Moira is a werewolf handler. Dominating The Demi Goddess by Ophelia Bell shares the courtship of the Diviner and Chaos. Love in a monster mash up. In The Burn Garden by Isoellen, it seems Binda releases and gets the better of a genie in a bottle. Starcrossed by Leslie Chen is the sci-fi equivalent of Romeo and Juliet between space salvagers Isadora and Kren. Stranded at sea and near death, Sara is rescued by sea creatures who've found their mate in Of Tentacles and Fin by VT Bonds. The sweet maiden comes to a new arrangement with The Monster Under My Bed by LV Lane. My Monster by Leann Ryans turns into a beauty and the beast tale, played out in the dark. Farrah has nightmares after the death of her fiance.

I was unfamiliar with almost all the authors in this collection. It made for some interesting reading, some ended with cliffhanger endings or HFN. I read all offerings preferring some more than others. The one author whose work I previously enjoyed delivered a fast, erotic and complete interlude. Those familiar with the Fate's Fools series will meet Chaos and the Diviner another couple matched by Deva. I enjoyed returning to the Haven, brief as it was.

I really enjoyed this anthology: 10 super-short erotic tales featuring monsters of all shapes and sizes – demons, aliens, beasts and sea creatures. These muscle-bound males are possessive, dominant, demanding and determined to conquer and claim – easily done when they’re epically endowed and aided in some cases by spurs, or knots. Overall, there’s some humour, angst, dirty talk and plenty of intensely steamy, explicit sex featuring MF, MFM scenes, plus a bit of MM – with willing and eager females, for the most part, but also a few reluctant ones. ... The only author in this collection that I’ve previously read is Nora Ash, and I loved her contribution – The Demon’s Bargain, which is set in her ‘Demon’s Mark’ universe. But now, after this introduction to these other talented authors, I’m looking forward to reading more stories from them. I received an Advance Reader Copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
