Russell chooses to remain behind, alone and on his own. He spends his time hiding and surviving in an abandoned landscape filled with concrete, cars, and asphalt.
The world he has known is no more, but Russell has a plan. It includes a comfortable roof over his head while he scavenges for food, fuel, and electrical supplies in a vast emptiness.
Managing his day-to-day needs is a full-time job that Russell does with some success.
