Is God a statue, a theological concept, a creation of one’s own imagination, or a fairy godmother? God is spirit.
Jesus promised the coming of the Holy Spirit who will always be with us. The Holy Spirit is of the same substance as the Father and the Son; he is a living presence who dwells within the Christian believers, the church. It is the Holy Spirit connecting with our spirits that allows rebirth and transformation in the lives of the Christian believers.
There are study questions at the end of each chapter that will further help engage the readers to reflect on the subject matter and will also allow for good small-group discussion.

This devotional is the culmination of the lessons that followed those questions. God does not instantly transform us into new creatures. The evidence is clear on that! The instant we accept Christ as our Savior we are declared completely righteous, but the process of transformation continues for the rest of our lives.
As I learned to apply God’s truth to my daily life, he has been faithful to transform what was broken into something beautiful. He took my fears and taught me to live by faith. He took my strife and taught me to live in peace. He taught me to trade my anger and bitterness for love and forgiveness. I have learned to trust instead of doubt. I am filled with hope instead of hopelessness, and my sorrow has been turned to joy. He took my feelings of worthlessness and helped me to understand my value in his eyes.
I believe it is my calling to share with others how God longs to transform their lives too. We can stay as we are, or we can allow God to teach us a better way. With his Spirit to empower us, we can continue becoming the people he intended us to be. I hope you will join me on this journey to becoming new!
The author introduces the reader to a collection of scripturally based exhortative messages. These brief messages are the canvas on which the author paints a compelling journey of practical application of biblical precepts and principles, placing the reader on a pathway vibrant with the promise of spiritual growth and blessings.
Thought provoking and challenging, these exhortations provide spiritual equipment for everyone; for the curious seeker, for the “babe in Christ,” and for those who have been on their journey with the Lord for some time. Nestled within each message, the author provides a unique dimension of transparency by sharing profound and impactful passages taken from her personal journals. As you encounter these messages, you are destined to be engaged and inspired. You are destined to be exhorted.
All too often, mankind makes God after their own image and concludes that He thinks and acts just as they do. But it is not a sign of wisdom to try to second-guess God!

Heroes of Faith is a curriculum designed to provide a more profound appreciation of the “Heroes of Faith” as listed in Hebrews 11, an impressive list of remarkable and heroic men and women whose biblical accounts stand out to encourage and strengthen the faith of the reader. The reader will be challenged to reflect on and make an assessment of his/her own faith at various times throughout the study. The contemporary relevance and necessity of faith in the life of the believer will be stressed. Our desire is that these lessons, each outlined with a Key Verse, Discussion Questions, and a Final Thought to Remember, encourage each reader to dig deeper into the Word of God.
