Billie Moon hates holidays, hates people, hates her ex-husband Sean and... well, hates most things in life.  Except for her job, that is.  So, when her father forces her to take a week’s holiday on a cruise ship around the Mediterranean, she turns it into a working trip thereby making it a little more bearable.

She soon meets the attractive and charming Cruise Director Oliver, his mother Kay and Tabitha, the attractive and fun loving entertainer who winds Billie up just by a flutter of her false eyelashes.

Between the three of them they force Billie to confront her past, present and future, and things don't turn out quite like she thought they would.
