After seeing Mrs. America and learning of the notorious Phyllis Schafly, I had to seek out the writings that made her a rising figure in far-right conservatism and judge myself if she is something to be revered. After barely getting through the first pages I found not only her written word contradictory and illogical, but pretty hypocritical on how she judges the rise of women enrolling in academia. One example stating how women are pursuing a greater education than men, but we must assume these men test greater and unfortunately bothered to not stride than their female counterparts. This argument in the first chapter alone not only gave a view that shes a blundering idiot, she is indeed her own hypocrite-a woman who still sought out the same things as the modern feminist woman: a desire to be well educated, obtaining scholarship with earning advanced degrees in unlikely times, and wanting to be an equal with a seat at the political table. She is her own worst enemy and critic alone.
