Hard To Fake is the first book in the Denver Kodiaks Series. This is my first time reading works by Piper Lawson and I’m hooked. I truly enjoyed Brooke and Miles' story. It had all my favorite tropes: sports romance, best friend's little sister, fake dating a swoon worthy cinnamon roll hero. Brooke and Miles’ chemistry from the first page was hot fire! Their friendship and banter pulls the reader right into their story. I can't get enough! This book does end in a cliffhanger but it was so worth the read. Brooke and Miles' story is a trilogy. I can't wait to read their continuing story and more books by Piper Lawson. I highly recommend this book.

Miles and Brooke are a slow-burn romance that will have you cheering for a happily ever after from the sidelines. They've got me invested in guessing how high they can turn up the heat. Talk about a significant crush becoming so much more. He's pure poetry in motion when he's on the court, scoring all the time. Brooke is sexy, confident, and off-limits. When Brooke needs a fake boyfriend for a weekend, Miles steps up big time. Can't wait for more of this couple!

If you've read any of the Kodiaks series from Piper, than you know Miles and Brooke have had a lot of tension in the previous three books and now we get to hear their story - FINALLY! Brooke has a big event coming up with her sorority sisters, as well as a lot of personal baggage going on lately, and she just wants the trip to go smooth. But that means its all about her appearance, which means she needs to ensure she has the perfect "fake" boyfriend to go with her.
