About this ebook

Who’s the mystery woman who just walked into my brewery?

I’m not the only one from my Alaskan small town asking themselves that question. But I’m positive, I’m the only one in Sunrise Bay undressing the pretty blonde in my head. Everything about her, from her make-up to her high heels says she’s a fish out of water.

Whispers and speculations run rampant until the secret of who she is gets uncovered. Then the rumor mill goes into overdrive when she announces she’s staying to open a bookstore in the building next to mine—throwing a big wrench into my plans to buy that empty building.

I quickly find myself in a tug-of-war since my business partner/brother is upset she’s ruined the opportunity to expand our business. I try to keep my distance, but I’ve got one sister with a gossip column on the local radio station and two meddling grandmas setting me up as a tour director.

And now I kind of like the idea of our new neighbor staying. But small-town life isn’t for the weak—time will tell if she has what it takes to be one of us.

I've been so excited to get my hands on the first book in Piper Rayne's new Greene Family series. This family lives in the neighboring town to the Bailey's, so we are heading back to Alaska to see what shenanigans this family brings us! Cade Greene is the oldest of the Greene siblings. He's got three biological siblings, four step-siblings and a half brother, so to say their family dynamics are complicated is an understatement. Cade co-owns Truth or Dare bar with his step-brother Jed and he is absolutely mesmerized when a mystery blonde walks into the bar during a private party. The crazy thing is she looks familiar to him, but he has no reason to know her. Presley Knight feels like a fish out of water in Sunrise Bay, Alaska. She's grown up in Connecticut, but has come to town and is trying to keep a low profile at first, but you know how that goes in a small town. As she learns more about the reasons she's in town to begin with, she likes the idea of a fresh start and she feels like this might be just the place to do it. Cade and Presley are attracted to one another immediately. They form a friendship that turns into them being business neighbors. While both of them have reasons for not wanting to get into a relationship, friends-with-benefits isn't off the table. Will they be able to keep it to that or will they catch feelings? This was such a fantastic way to start the series and I am already in love with this Alaskan town and this great big family. I'm excited to see what our favorite grandmother's (both Green and Bailey) get into and how things pan out for all of the Greene kids!

***** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW ***** I have been seriously loving these audiobooks from Piper Rayne. I am enjoying being in Alaska again with the Greene family. I was looking forward to hearing Cade’s story when we got to meet him quickly in Hank’s story. Cade and Presley have some major chemistry happening. Piper Rayne has this fabulous way of making me laugh so hard during the story and throwing in some emotions where I’m wiping tears away too. That’s one thing that makes me coming back to an author’s books. Having just found Piper Rayne with this series, I have a ton of backlog I can dive back into and might just do if they all have the same feel as the Greene family. Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are so amazing together. They have so much chemistry together and if fits the characters so flawlessly. Besides that, Arden pulls off Cade’s charm and wit. I just loved the humor you could feel in his voice when him and Presley were being adorably charming and making me laugh. Erin Mallon is just fantastic. She’s easily a top 5 female narrator. Just like Arden, she’s able to portray the humor flawlessly. She also sounds sultry when needed. They are just great.

My Beautiful Neighbor is book one in The Greene Family Series and what a perfect start to what looks like another hit series for the ver talented writing duo of Piper Rayne. If you love small town romance look no further than this entertaining read and if you have read The Bailey’s you will certainly be excited to read this new series. Welcome to the small town of Sunrise Bay, Alaska and its residents..... We know the meddling Ethel Greene and her side kick Dori Bailey from the previous series and now it’s Ethel’s turn to find love for all her grandchildren, enter Cade Greene and the newcomer to Sunrise Bay Presley Knight..... It’s hard to move to a small town where everything knows each other and everyone is in each other’s business so Presley was always going to be talk of the local rumor mill and when she announces she’s staying and is going up a bookstore in the building Cade was hoping to buy all sorts of stories hit the fan. Cade and his brother are not happy that their plans have been upset and to make matters worse Cade has an instant attraction to the stunning newcomer..... I loved The Bailey’s and I wasn’t sure if a new family could touch my heart but I shouldn’t have worried because I fell hook, line and sinker for The Greene’s and I can’t wait for more stories fto come out of Sunrise Bay. This book has all the feel’s it’s fun and entertaining, it’s steamy and romantic and it has characters you can’t help loving. Can’t wait for the next instalment from Sunrise Bay
