Secrets of the Worlds Worst Matchmaker is book #7 in The Baileys Series by Piper Rayne. It is a funny, romantic story about 2 best friends finally getting their happily ever after. Juno and Colton have been best friends from the time they were 6 years old. Juno has recently realized her feelings for her friend go beyond friendship but the problem is she is too late. Colton is engaged to a vet tech at the veterinarian clinic he works at. What Juno doesn’t know is Colton has had feelings for Juno since they were 13 years old. I adored Colton. He has always been there for Juno from the moment her parents died at 13 years old he vowed to always be there for her and has never wavered from that. He has been at every Bailey function always standing right beside Juno. Colton is successful in business, he is confident and attractive. Juno is fearful and reserved about commitment and at times I was beyond frustrated with her inability to see what was right in front of her but at the same time I understood it. She owns and operates a matchmaking business. Although her insecurities took over at times she is a fiery redhead with a passion for love and matchmaking. She is gorgeous, funny and loyal to her family. I absolutely adore the Baileys. G’ma Dori, all the siblings, their partners and kids. Every time I read a book in this series I am immersed in the family, the drama, the humor and all that the magical town of Lake Starlight, Alaska has to offer. I am looking forward to Kingston and Sedona’s books next after the little hints dropped in this one. *ARC received in exchange of an honest review.

Sometimes, love just has to wait. Secrets Of The World's Worst Matchmaker is the seventh book in 'The Baileys' series by Piper Rayne. It’s sweet and romantic, has a swoony hero, and a heroine who is lost in her head. Colton and Juno have been in all the previous Bailey books. We’ve heard Juno’s siblings saying with much certainty that they loved each other and belonged together. Colton secretly agreed. This man has loved Juno for years, but she’s kept him at arm’s length and very firmly in the ‘friend zone. So firmly, he gave up trying to get out of it and resigned himself to never having Juno as his girl. When Colton suddenly decides to get married, Juno is faced with the hard fact of actually losing her best friend, the thing that she had tried so hard to avoid by not falling into the love trap. Now, she has to face the truth and realize that she does want Colton as more than just a friend. Will he believe her, or put it down to jealousy? This was a slightly more angsty and at times heartbreaking story. The first few chapters especially tugged at my heart-strings and brought tears to my eyes. Colton has been there for Juno all her life. They’ve been friends since they were six, and this guy? Oh, my god, his love for Juno was so strong and beautiful. Juno has a lot more depth to her than we’ve seen before, she’s strong-willed but her fears and worries have made her reluctant to give love a real try. Only Colton can give her the strength she needs, but will she see that before it’s too late? I read this book in one sitting, I just couldn’t put it down. There’s so much happening with past events getting brought to the light. But, above all, the Bailey clan proves that family matters.

I absolutely adore The Bailey's series that Piper Rayne has entertained us with. I have to say that I've always wondered how things were going to go with Juno and Colton, as we've seen their friendship play out in so many of her sibling's books. Well, wait no more, Secrets of the World's Worst Matchmaker will answer all of our questions and give us some new ones!! Juno and Colton have been friends since they were six years old. They truly have grown up together and they've also been there for one another for the happiest, saddest and even the most mundane times. They are as close as close can be and it's no secret to anyone who knows them that Colton has had feelings for Juno for years, but she's got her own reasons to keep him in the friend zone. Now that Colton is engaged, things between the two best friends have begun to shift. Juno realizes that they aren't going to be able to spend time together like they always have and while she gets it, it still makes her sad. She's trying to make a real go of her matchmaking business, but she's even having doubts about that. Is Juno going to land on her feet or is she going to lose everything that's important to her all in one fell swoop? For anyone that has been reading this series for any length of time, I would say this is probably the book we've all been waiting for. It was perfect for Juno and Colton and Piper Rayne also did a great job of setting up future books, which is always fun! Pick this one up, you won't be sorry.
