About this ebook

A repressed vampire princess. A handsome stranger. A forbidden night that changes everything.

Next in line to lead the vampire species, Naya Kensington is set to mate with a male of her parents’ choosing. But before she’s trapped in a loveless relationship forever, she breaks the rules and crosses the river to attend a new nightclub.

Discontent and numb, everything changes when she meets Vaughn Llewelyn. He’s unlike any human she’s ever met before, and he makes her feel something again.

What Naya doesn’t know is that Vaughn is a cat-shifter, and once he senses Naya, he and his cat want her.

Breaking her own rules, Naya takes Vaughn home for the night and does the unthinkable.

She drinks his blood. Something she’s only allowed to do from other vampires—and never from a male she’s not mated with.

Neither Naya nor Vaughn could imagine how this act will change both of their lives forever…as well as the world of everyone around them.

Forbidden Blood is the first book in R.L. Kenderson's hot paranormal romance series. If you like alpha males, spicy supernatural characters, forbidden love, and steamy sex, then you'll love the first installment in this page-turning series.

OMG! The story grabs you and keeps you in the plot till the last page. Naya, the vampire princess, goes with her bff Kenzie to a new club and meets a man there named Vaughn. The two are drawn to each other and leave together. Before they leave, both make sure that Kenzie has a way home with Vaughn's friend Sawyer. The next night Naya finds out her parents are now picking out her future mate and she's a trifle irritated. Before her parents leave for two months they make arrangements for Naya and their choice of mate for her are scheduled to meet and spend time together with Naya;s cousin, Arianna. Although dating both Vaughn and her parent;s choice she;s torn between duty and her heart. Finally she breaks it off with Vaughn and spends several long weeks missing him and being ill. When her parents return, her mother takes one whiff and off they go to the Dr. There Naya receives news that will impact her life as well as others around her. It also unleashes a danger to not only her but the city too. Fantastic story and read!! Will keep you enthralled to the last page!!! Wow, I loved this book it was so good! I would give it way more than five stars if it was possible. I can normally read a book of 65 pages on my e-reader in one night. This book was a book of 333 pages on my e-reader and I still read it in one night, but I did happen to go to bed early and even though I was feeling awful once started I just couldn't put this book down until I finished it at 8.30am the following morning, and boy did I pay for it with pain, but it was that good!. I so wanted to start book two, but I have other commitments that I need to see to first, so I am disappointed I have to wait. If I had to recommend one book I had read lately this would be a clear winner. If you enjoy books about vampires and shifters then I would definitely recommend this book

Listen to your heart and soul....they may whisper but you can hear them. I loved this book. It has a vampire Princess, a shifter Prince and humans....but forget about other books and films like this, because this is book is GOOD!!! The characters have depth and emotions and the story has twists and turns in it that'll make you giddy. Oh and throw in an underhanded plot that goes back years and you have a great story to tell. I loved the way the characters felt and acted real and I felt as if I was sitting in Kenzie's flat chatting with Kezie and Naya as they told their stories over a glass of wine. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves pnr with vampires and Shifters and lovers who have to fight for the right to their love. A good sniffle was had by me while reading this book so I'd recommend a tissue or two, you have been warned. I receieved an arc copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review

About the author

R.L. Kenderson is two best friends writing under one name. Renae wrote her first poem in third grade and learned she might have a knack for this writing thing, while Lara remembers sneaking her grandmother’s Harlequin novels when she was probably too young to be reading them and always knew she wanted to write her own.

When they met in college, they bonded over their love of reading and the TV show Charmed. What really spiced up their friendship was when Lara introduced Renae to romance novels, and when they discovered their first vampire romance they knew there would always be a special place in their hearts for paranormal romance. After being unable to find certain storylines and characteristics they wanted to read about in the hundreds of books they consumed, they decided to write their own.

They both live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area where they’re a sonographer/stay-at-home mom and pharmacist by day and sexy author by night.
