When Raeleigh Wilkinson was a preschooler, her uncle found her in furious tears because her cousins told her “only boys can be doctors”. Although Raeleigh turned out to be far too squeamish to pursue a career in medicine, she always carried her stubborn conviction that girls can do anything. Raeleigh studied mechanical engineering, and she has worked on robots, rockets, and roller coasters. Raeleigh is a lifelong book lover.
