I absolutely loved the first book and then the first few chapters of this book (book 2)...... however after reading the sample I find out it's not available for me to read. :( I'll never know now.

Rebecca Shea is one of my go to authors. Her writing is flawless and captivating. Bound by Lies is the sequel to Broken By Lies and picks up right where Broken left off. Alex shot, Emilia covered in blood, Sam protecting her. I love when I cry in the first few pages of a book. It lets me know I'm in for the ride of a lifetime. Emilia is shattered. Buried in her own grief and only feels safe when she's with Sam. He loves her and he's Alex's brother, but he feels like a part of home. He is all she has left in this world. They are all in danger and she just wants to be free and go where she can start over. Can Emilia let Alex go and be free? Will she feel more for Sam? Can Sam live with the fact that she will always love his brother? I loved these characters and their relationships. Rebecca writes suspense, twists and heartbreaking love like no other. All of your questions are answered and this is not a cliffhanger. It's written in multiple POV and I absolutely loved the epilogue! Alex was my love - dark and dangerous. But Sam is now my rock - my safe place. "Love hangs on even when there's nothing left to hang on to."

Bound and torn apart by lies and violence. Not lies of convenience...lies to protect, but lies all the same. The plot twists, the love, the violence, the fresh starts...I devoured it all!!! This was the perfect follow up and continuation of Broken by Lies!
