About this ebook

At eleven he was my first crush. At sixteen he became mine. At nineteen he broke my heart and destroyed me. That was ten years ago and the last time I saw Cole Ryan.

They say you never get over your first love...I beg to differ. I left my shattered heart buried in a town I never expected to return too. I erased every thought of him and buried the memories never to be found.

I moved on...now ten years later I have the perfect life, the perfect fiancé, the perfect career. Everything I ever wanted until I'm forced to go back and face my past and the man that destroyed me.

He won't stop until I know the truth no matter how hard I fight it. In the end, lies will be uncovered, hearts will be broken, and my life as I've come to know it destroyed.

I say this every time about Rebecca Shea's work- the feels. I know I'm not prego. It's not that time of the month either. But no matter how hard I tried I could not fight the tears. Tears of joy, despair, longing...Tears of hopelessness, pain, loss, and heartbreak (not in that order either!) Fault Lines is such a descriptive way to explain this book. Just wow! There are some incredible quotes that would explain my vague comments but they need to be read in context in order to really feel them. Sigh. Love isn't always pleasant. Life isn't always fair. It seems these two know that fairly well. With friends and family helping them out, maybe they will learn to move on from the hurt...maybe not. "Except Cole will never be a scar— he'll always be a gaping wound on my heart that never heals." "This is how we will end. This is how we will crumble and dissolve, and my heart drops to my stomach." Hopefully this is the beginning of a series, there are a few more souls in this book that need their stories told. Fault Lines is a beautiful story with heartache, heartbreak, and love. You just need to decide which one will control your future. One final- but most important thing!!!!! I just need to say that as much as I love Cole. I have dibs on Carter. No, HE IS MINE!!!! He better get the award for most amazing friend ever. Just saying...

Angst heartbreak second chance friend to lover this had it all! I love and hate the unraveling of young love it’s so hard it destroys me. Sign me up I’m a sucker every time! You’re falling for Cole well I was , and Frankie oh Frankie you want to reach into the book and hug her. Just when you think it’s okay ... boom . I didn’t think I would feel emotional yet I am. Really enjoyed this. Also wouldn’t mind some Carter in the future possibly?
