About the author
Reinhard Diestel，英国剑桥大学博士，1983至1986年间以奖学金学生的身份在三一学院学习研究，师从Béla Bollobás。1986至1990年间在剑桥圣约翰学院工作。出于学术和研究的需要，他先后游学于德国比勒菲尔德，牛津以及美国。1994年，他在开姆尼 茨获得教授头衔。自1999年至今，他在汉堡大学进行离散数学的研究。
Reinhard Diestel的主要研究领域是图论(包括无限图论)和及其相关的其他数学领域如拓扑学等。他发表了众多学术文章以及一册研究专论集：《Graph Decomposition》，1990年，牛津大学出版社。他的著作《图论》，施普林格出版社，先后被译为德、俄、日、中四种不同语言。Rate this ebook
