About this ebook

Models of Community Organization is a humble effort to consolidate proven models of Community Development Tools developed/adopted by a team of practitioners, later scaled up in various relief and development agencies nationally and internationally, with the purpose of achieving sustainable results in their area of operation for the benefit of the children and families in communities.

This book has a very high academic value for both social work practitioners and trainees. The vast experience of the author in the specific field makes the book an excellent learning experience.  –  Dr. Ipe Varughese, Secretary General, Network of Professional Social Work Associations (INPSWA), India. Head Department of Social Work, BCM College Kottayam

My strong recommendation to institutions, social work schools/colleges & organizations, is to make the book a part of training and educating people.  –   Bob Jacob, Director, World Concerns Laos, Former Deputy Country Director Samaritan’s Purse International Relief Cambodia

The book documents the successful implementation of child-focused community-based development models to scale. These models were implemented across various contexts in India and beyond, spanning more than two and a half decades of active engagement with the people and therefore these are time-tested and proven.  –  Dr. Christopher S. Baskeran, Advisor, Faith and Development, East Asia Region, World Vision International

I recommend this book to all development practitioners who would like to invest in people’s lives and sincerely adopt & use these tools to make our communities stronger and more resilient in enjoying life.  –  Lawrence Mangalarajan, Former Program Advisor, Asia Region Compassion International
