About this ebook

When mankind longs for hope above all else, a seventeen-year-old boy named Ky emerges exhibiting traits beyond that of a normal human. Realizing his prowess, political and military leaders exploit his ability to sway masses to their own personal gain. Through deception and sacrifice, Ky learns what he must do to save humans from extinction. Having lost his parents at age twelve to the powers that ran Earth, Ky faces the ultimate decision between helping save Earth, or seeking revenge for what they had done. Seemingly around every corner, powerful individuals strive to oppose Ky by whatever force they can muster. Battle after battle, Ky develops into the person he must become to fulfill the choices he has made, and each choice leads to greater conflict until he is faced with the grandest peril of them all. Can he do what is necessary to save Earth, or will he carry his revenge?

About the author

Richard is excited to be publishing his first book after thirteen years of plotting, writing and editing. With a degree in Economics from Michigan Technological University, he currently studies law at the Earle Mack School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In his limited free time, Richard enjoys backpacking, photography and community service. Always a student, writing has always been, in many forms, a part of Richards life. From classwork to the school newspaper, Richard has never shied from an opportunity to show his creativity in written work. Now, he enters into the world of novels, eager to see where his next literary step may be. Richard finds a lot of his inspiration through his community service, especially his work at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camps. You can feel the emotion running through the campers and counselors once you walk through those gates. It is hard to not be inspired standing amongst the strongest, most caring, individuals this world has to offer. Music, memories, friends and failures all made their way, in some form, into Richards words. Taking every experience as a lesson learned, he welcomed the worst with open arms and embraced the good with a heart filled to the brim.
