About this ebook

After a summer spent trying to prevent a catastrophic war among the Greek gods, Percy Jackson finds his seventh-grade school year unnervingly quiet. His biggest problem is dealing with his new friend, Tyson—a six-foot-three, mentally challenged homeless kid who follows Percy everywhere, making it hard for Percy to have any "normal" friends. But things don't stay quiet for long...

I have listened to or read every one of these fun Percy Jackson and Jason Grace novels, they're great reads and introduce a lot of different deities and minor gods to the reader. And since research its just a Google search away it is a great gateway to Greek and Roman mythology. The authors Kane Chronicles does the same for Egyptian deities and if you pay attention you may notice a few cross over Easter eggs.

It makes you understand the series a lot more and in general, I like all the Percy Jackson books plus the hero's of olmpus. I have read other very amazing books, but this series and hero's of olmpus is really my favorite! And I loved this book the most, better then any of the Percy Jackson books( besides the last one with persy when he kills kronos. Sorry for spoiling the series.

Most books in a series can be boring, but the second book in Rick Roirdan's Percy Jackson series is WONDERFUL. Each book makes you wonder what adventure is next. The adventures get tougher, but Percy and his friends excel at each Quest! This is great book in the series.
