Ratings and reviews

Sasha, having been rescued and literally brought back to life, is a little too flaky and definitely not heroine material, and yet she's one of the main characters. This whole book is written around her. I don't get why Cole is spending all his fortune on people he didn't even know existed. So, no, I won't be reading the next book. It makes no sense, and this is when the author lost me, for someone, like Cole, who just wanted to keep a low profile to come out of hiding after literally being left for dead when his space craft was blown to smithereens. 3 stars for potential and execution.

basic space opera, but an okay read The book is a little too: everything works out without a hitch with everything serendipitously falling into place, such as the impossibly good derelict ancient alien spacecraft. The lead characters are all good guys without much depth or nuance. Rereading my review name me step rating to 3 stars. I guess I finished the book because it's an easy read for a tired brain over Christmas.

really enjoyed it, great choice for a day off as I just couldn't put it down. Not overly descriptive, especially when it comes to characters. But that's a nice change and let's my imagination conjure more. Fast paced with so much going on.
