About the author

Román Díaz has participated in origami conventions and workshops in the U.S., UK, Japan, Italy, Germany, Colombia, Israel, Brazil, France, and Spain, among others. He has authored five origami books and has collaborated on many more. His work is commissioned by advertisers, and his original pieces have been exhibited in many museums, including the Tokitin Museum in Haifa, EMOZ in Zaragoza, and various other venues. When he is not folding origami, Díaz keeps busy as a veterinary surgeon in Montevideo, Uruguay.
