Sugar plums, sleigh rides, Christmas plays, & all the charm, whimsy, & romance of an Edwardian Christmas season with the true meaning beautifully woven into the story! I adored this book. The Nutcracker is a favorite ballet & I enjoyed all the clever nods to this fun story. The romance was a childhood friends to more with a twist where an additional suitor’s vying for the heroine’s hand. This wonderfully written novella really brings the Christmas spirit & renewed all those feelings of delight!
