About this eBook
Chika is a little long-haired Chihuahua with one very big dream: a safe and loving home.
During a scorching summer, she wanders the streets searching for scraps, shade, and a little comfort. Fleas make her itch, her overgrown nails hurt her feet, and at night she curls up outside and wishes for a family.
Chika often stays near a school, quietly watching the children laugh and play behind the fence. One afternoon, Lily notices the little dog she has seen so many times and asks her dad to help. That simple act of kindness changes Chika’s life forever.
Chika’s Dream is a gentle picture book about compassion, animal rescue, hope, and the joy of finding a forever family.
