About this ebook

What if the version of the gospel you’ve been taught isn’t the one God actually revealed? Many believers today confuse God’s New Covenant with the one promised to the remnant of Judah and Israel or else reduce it to a doctrine of love and grace, stripped of its transformative demands. As a result, the New Covenant’s true terms, purpose, and method of fulfillment have been blurred, and many people’s eternal future is in peril.

Drawing directly from Scripture, this book cuts through the confusion by presenting a clear, Spirit-led understanding of the New Covenant of the Spirit (2 Cor 3:6). It examines the covenant’s core attributes, challenges conventional interpretations of the gospel, and reveals the righteous requirements for entering God’s eternal kingdom.

Faith in Christ is not passive but calls for a whole-hearted commitment—body, soul, and mind. Furthermore, true obedience to the Spirit brings about the renewal of the mind and transformation into Christ’s likeness, an essential conversion for those who would like to dwell in the New Jerusalem.

Judgment awaits every person according to their deeds. But God’s wrath can be avoided. Grace is not a loophole; it is a divine gift, and repentance must be genuine. This book invites readers to take seriously the call to righteousness, to understand grace as God defines it, and to prepare for the kingdom where holiness is both the standard and the joy of eternal life with Christ and the saints.

His enduring love for Scripture led him to lead Sunday School programs, launch a thriving weekly Bible study, and mentor a generation of young believers, several of whom have gone on to become pastors. Russell lives in Cobourg, Ontario, with his wife and is the proud father of six children and grandfather to six grandchildren. In addition to this book, he is also the author of Eternal Salvation: “I’m Okay! You’re Okay!” Really?
