বিষাদকে এড়িয়ে আমরা বাঁচতে পারি না। আলোর সাদা যতখানি সত্যি, বিষাদের কালো রং ততটাই জীবনময়। আমাদের জীবনের অজস্র তারাফুলের মৃত্যু হয় আমাদের জ্ঞানে-অজ্ঞানে। সেই কালোরঙা মৃতদেহগুলিকে প্রতিদিন আমরা সযত্নে কবর দিই। মাটিচাপা তারাফুল বেতালের মতো ফের আমাদের আকাশে চড়ে বসে। এক-একটি মৃতদেহ বহন করে নিয়ে যায় এক-একটি দিন। এই শবযাত্রার সারিময়তার মধ্যেই আমরা শ্বাস নিই। মাংসভাত খাই। আর রাতে শুতে যাওয়ার আগে আপাতসন্ধি করি জীবনের সাথে।

ঝড়ের বেগে পড়ে ফেললাম প্রিয় শীর্ষা আক্কার কবিতাগুলো। সহজ কথায় যাপনচিত্র এঁকেছো তুমি। বঙ্গ-தமிழன்-এর সমস্ত সদস্যদের তরফ থেকে অনেক শুভেচ্ছা। তোমার কলমে আরো নতুন নতুন কবিতা ফুলের মতো ফুটে উঠুক।
