It has been a while since I read the other books in this series and I forgot how much I love the authour’s writing style! Susana and Andrew are at odds from the moment they meet, and this is with good reason on her part. As things develop, as the story unfolds, you can’t help but feel for these two and all they’ve been through. Isobel provides a lot of relief so things don’t get heavy, with Hamish as another great foil. Enjoyed the story, the characters, and the setting!

So nice to finally see a big strong man who was not afraid to show a sensitive side. Arrogant, stubborn and conceited all applied to Andrew but I like to think of him as a romantic at heart. Why else would he keep subjecting himself to Susana's fiery temper? Ms. York created a great character in Susana. Just as brash as Andrew but more opinionated. A scandalously hot tug of war that is every bit as winning a love story as it is an adventure. I received an ARC of Susana and the Scot in exchange for an honest review.

I especially enjoyed Isobel's character in this book. so funny, smart and adventurous
