This book is so well written and informative that i could barely pull myself away long. enough to write this review. I'm so impressed with the wonderfully obscure connections he teases out.

Good read for an armchair popsci fan like myself. Good overview of the history of genetic science with some humor and amusing and interesting back stories.

The book suddenly cut off a few pages in to the last chapter.

Sam Kean is the New York Times bestselling author of Caesar's Last Breath, The Tale of the Dueling Neurosurgeons, The Disappearing Spoon, and The Violinist's Thumb, all of which were also named Amazon top science books of the year.
