This was an adorable book. It started off lighthearted and amusing, but quickly developed into something emotional and powerful. A bit spicy, but with a good amount of plot and character development to balance it out. My only complaint was that I would have liked to see the relationship between Seb and O more. We are told a lot how close and dependent they are on each other, but Seb honestly doesnt talk to O much throughout the book.

An entanglement of magic. Sebastian is such a mischievous, wholesome-hearted guy. Theo is very guarded and mysterious. Together, they make the best rivals that find more in each other than an unwanted lab partner. The depths that their relationship went were so touching and healing. Sara Raasch truly has a way of making thematic romances fun while also touching your heart. Their romance was not the only important relationship. this book is like made in a lab for me (STEM grad student and avid DND player, with large opinions on fanfiction) so I CANNOT rate it lower than 4 stars
