Honestly, Crescent City is the best book in the SJM universe, I really loved the characters & dynamic, but sometimes Bryce was a little bratty. With that said, I don't know what else to criticize - maybe the Capability of the author to make me absolutely loathe characters just to build a good backstory and plot around them and make me love the character again. ❤️ I absolutely adored this book. It was a heavy brick to hold with more than 600 pages, but every moment of this treasure was worth it.

One of my favorites!! The world building makes you feel like you're walking the streets of Crescent City. The characters, they live in your head all day and all night. Bryce, as a kind of regular person, makes you feel like you could be her friend if you lived there too. And then all her badassery make you feel like you could also concur the world and the as sassy and spectacular as she is. Lets not get into the amazing characters that are Hunt Athalar and RUHN DANAAN!! 🤤🤩

I do not know how she can make charters I honestly despise, and absolutely change my mind without making them completely different characters- but she's done it again! This book was slow to get into, I honestly almost gave up ½ way in, but that would have been a huge mistake. It's worth the slow slow start- weather like a slow burn but instead of between characters, its between book and reader. Fabulous.
