The girl who’s had everyone meets the boy who has no one.

For Bella,  the sweet-talking, free-loving, hip-checking student manager of the Harkness men’s hockey team, sex is a second language. She’s used to being fluent where others stutter, and the things people say behind her back don’t (often) bother her. So she can’t understand why her smoking hot downstairs neighbor has so much trouble staying friends after their spontaneous night together. She knows better than to worry about it, but there’s something in those espresso eyes that makes her second guess herself.

Rafe is appalled with himself for losing his virginity in a drunken hookup. His strict Catholic upbringing always emphasized loving thy neighbor—but not with a bottle of wine and a box of condoms. The result is an Ivy League bout of awkwardness. But when Bella is leveled by a little bad luck and a downright sinister fraternity stunt, it’s Rafe who is there to pick up the pieces.

Bella doesn’t want Rafe's help, and she’s through with men. Too bad the undeniable spark that crackles between the two of them just can't be extinguished.

Just because she's famous doesn't mean she's happy...

Freshman Lianne Challice is known to millions of fans as Princess Vindi. But sometimes a silver screen sorceress just wants to hang up her wand, tell her manager to shove it, and become a normal college student.

Too bad that's harder than it looks. She's never lived a normal life. She hasn't been to school since kindergarten. And getting close to anyone is just too risky -- the last boy she kissed sold the story to a British tabloid.

But she can't resist trying to get close to Daniel "DJ" Trevi, the hot, broody guy who spins tunes for hockey games in the arena. Something's haunting his dark eyes, and she needs to know more.

DJ's genius is for expressing the mood of the crowd with a ten second song snippet. With just a click and a fade, he can spread hope, pathos or elation among six thousand screaming fans. Too bad his college career is about to experience the same quick fade-out as one of his songs.

He can't get close to Lianne, and he can't tell her why. And the fact that she seems to like him at all? Incredible.

The sport she loves is out of reach. The boy she loves wants someone else. What now?

She expected to start Harkness College as a varsity ice hockey player. But a serious accident means that Corey Callahan will start school in a wheelchair instead.

Across the hall, in the other handicapped-accessible dorm room, lives the too-delicious-to-be real Adam Hartley, another would-be hockey star with his leg broken in two places. He’s way out of Corey’s league.

Also, he’s taken.

Nevertheless, an unlikely alliance blooms between Corey and Hartley in the “gimp ghetto” of McHerrin Hall. Over tequila, perilously balanced dining hall trays, and video games, the two cope with disappointments that nobody else understands.

They’re just friends, of course, until one night when things fall apart. Or fall together. All Corey knows is that she’s falling. Hard.

But will Hartley set aside his trophy girl to love someone as broken as Corey? If he won’t, she will need to find the courage to make a life for herself at Harkness — one which does not revolve around the sport she can no longer play, or the brown-eyed boy who’s afraid to love her back.

Could you give up the love of your life to save the child who depends on you?

I used to be like the other Harkness Hockey players, worrying only about the next game or the next party. But that all changed the day I became my little sister’s protector. Only by keeping Lucy hidden and acing my course load will we survive the year.

But then I meet Scarlet, who sees me as more than just a star athlete or a party boy. I fall hard for her. But darkness follows Scarlet, too. When her past comes to light, so does a horrible truth: I can’t save everyone. But I’ll never stop trying.

If you love a strong hero, a fierce heroine and the ivy-covered glamour of college life, dive right in to The Year We Hid Away.

What happened in high school stayed in high school. Until now.

Five years ago, Michael Graham betrayed the only person who ever really knew him. Since then, he’s made an art of hiding his sexual preference from everyone. Including himself.

So it’s a shock when his past strolls right into the Harkness College locker room, sporting a bag of hockey gear and the same slow smile that had always rendered Graham defenseless. For Graham, there is only one possible reaction: total, debilitating panic. With one loose word, the team’s new left wing could destroy Graham’s life as he knows it.

John Rikker is stuck being the new guy. Again. And it’s worse than usual, because the media has latched onto the story of the only “out” player in Division One hockey. As the satellite trucks line the sidewalk outside the rink, his new teammates are not amused.

And one player in particular looks sick every time he enters the room.

Rikker didn’t exactly expect a warm welcome from Graham. But the guy won’t even meet his eyes. From the looks of it, his former… best friend / boyfriend / whatever isn’t doing so well. He drinks too much and can’t focus during practice.

Either the two loneliest guys on the team will self destruct from all the new pressures in their lives, or they can navigate the pain to find a way back to one another. To say that it won’t be easy is the Understatement of the Year.

Warning: unlike the other books in this series, this heartbreaking love story is about two guys. Contains sexual situations, dance music, snarky t-shirts and a poker-playing grandmother.

Fall in love with the Southerlands!

RIDING THE PAUSE

Rachel Southerland's life runs on a tight schedule. She's never met a variable she couldn't control and likes it that way. But when a job loss threatens her orderly world and her identity, she sets off on the Appalachian Trail to find peace in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Ian Maxwell hasn't worn a watch for years, waking with the sun and working all day in the forest he loves. On the surface his life seems unambitious, but still waters run deep, and Ian has secrets of his own.

When a chance meeting in the quiet shadow of the mountains throws them together, Ian tries to hold on to his calm and help Rachel find hers. But she hits his life like a hurricane, sending waves barreling through his peace. Can they work together to find something richer than either of them imagined or will what they thought they wanted keep them from seeing the love standing right in front of them?

A LITTLE BIT CLOSER

Blake Southerland is tired. Building an empire is hard work and his meteoritic rise in wealth and power has come at a steep cost. He misses the family he's always been close to, and although he has absolutely no desire to follow his siblings down the path to true love and happily ever after, he's tired of Skyping into family events instead of showing up in person. He doesn't need to fall in love; he needs a chance to find his center and the peace that comes from going home.

Samantha Braxton was raised as the only child of emotionally distant parents in a posh London neighborhood. Growing up, she had everything a child could want except the love and warmth she craves. When she has the opportunity to travel to Virginia with her outrageously sexy boss, she jumps at the chance to ditch her sheltered upbringing for a real adventure.

But will Blake's big pushy loving family overwhelm or charm her and will the clash of their cultures be one more wedge between them or will the beautiful English rose help the jaded businessman find his way home?

LOVE AT THE LOST & FOUND

Taylor Southerland is about to quit. Again. Architectural restoration is the most recent in a long line of careers that don't fit. She wants something to feel passionate about and worries her inevitable job description might begin and end as someone's wife. Before she can figure out her next move, she has to finish the job she was hired for, which means finding a way to work with the fast talking Yankee responsible for the metal work, who seems intent on planting his sexy broad shoulders and tattooed biceps in her path.

Welder and Jersey native, Matthew Thorne has enough on his plate completing the restoration work on his latest project. The last thing he needs is a spoiled Southern belle sticking her nose in his business. He just wants to finish the work he was hired to do, so he can get back on his bike and move on to the next job, especially when she's a complication he doesn't need. She might be smart, funny and sexy, but she's also a major distraction – and distractions and blowtorches are a bad combination.

Taylor thinks he's dangerous and Matthew's sure she's trouble, but it doesn't stop things from heating up between them. With sparks flying, can they see past their misconceptions to find the truth buried under the rubble or are the biker and the belle destined to stay lost to each other?

For one night she had everything.

Pro snowboarder Stella Lazarus has always loved her brother's best friend. But the one time she tried to show him, she was shot down faster than you can say "competitor disqualified."

Until one blissful night in Tahoe, when Stella finally gets her man.

Or does she? In the morning, Stella and Bear wake up to horrible news. The sort that sends them racing back to Vermont, and straight into the arms of guilt and family obligations.

For all of Bryan “Bear” Barry’s life, three natural laws held true: his best friend Hank was destined for greatness, Hank’s sister Stella was off-limits, and Bear would always manage to negotiate the rocky paths that life threw his way. In the space of two days, that’s all shattered.

Bear can't believe he slipped up so badly with Stella. Even if his best friend wasn't lying broken in a hospital bed, it would still be unforgivable. Determined to do better, he devotes himself to his friend's recovery, denying himself the very person he loves. And the very thing he needs.

Most people called it a cult. But for twenty years, Josh and Caleb called it home.

In Paradise, there is no television. No fast food. Just long hours of farm work and prayer on a dusty Wyoming ranch, and nights in a crowded bunkhouse. The boys of the Compound are kept far from the sinners’ world.

But Joshua doesn’t need temptation to sin. His whole life, he’s wanted his best friend, Caleb. By day they work side by side. Only when Josh closes his eyes at night can they be together the way he craves.

It can never be. And his survival depends on keeping his terrible desires secret.

Caleb has always protected Josh against the worst of the bullying at the Compound. But he has secrets of his own, and a plan to get away — until it all backfires.

Josh finds himself homeless in a world that doesn’t want him. Can Caleb find him in time? And will they find a place of safety, where he can admit to Josh how he really feels?

Warning: Contains a hot male/male romance, copious instances of taking the Lord's name in vain, and love against the kitchen counter.

Another swoon-worthy Vermont romance from USA Today bestselling author Sarina Bowen.

Bad boy Hank “Hazardous” Lazarus used to have everything: a gorgeous girlfriend, a career as a freestyle snowboarder and a spot on the US Olympic team. Nine months ago, after a bad crash in the half pipe, he woke up in the hospital, unable to move his legs. Now he’s landed there again, but gravity is not the culprit. With his family pressuring him to try a groundbreaking treatment, Hank self-medicates with too much tequila instead.

Doctor Callie Anders has the courage to restart a patient’s heart with a thousand volts of electricity, yet she’s afraid to risk her own. So she doesn’t confess to the clinic's newest patient they they met just before the accident, an encounter that he doesn’t remember. Even as their friendship develops, she won’t admit that she regrets turning down his dinner invitation, or that her heart stutters every time those inked shoulders roll through the door of the therapy department.

With another Vermont winter coming again, Hank needs a hand out from under the avalanche of his disappointments. If only Callie were brave enough to take the job.

This book is a standalone novel, no cliffhangers, no prior experience necessary.
