About this ebook

JD Hewlett is pure, beautiful chaos carrying a guitar and heartbreak.

Kelsey keeps her world small. It’s the only way she’s found any peace. So when the hot single dad next door asks for help, she tries to be neighborly… even though he is definitely going to wreck her calm.

JD has spent years pushing his band toward a break that always feels one gig out of reach. But nothing prepares him for the letter that reveals the daughter he never knew he had. Overnight, he’s juggling babysitters, tantrums, and the fear he’s about to lose everything he worked for. The only thing that might save him is the fragile friendship he’s built with Kelsey.

Falling for her would risk the only stability she trusts. But walking away from her is breaking him faster than fame ever could.

Kelsey knows she can’t hide from her own heart forever. JD is hope and noise and possibility—everything she’s terrified to want. And if he can convince her that their song is worth the risk, they might find a love strong enough to rewrite both their lives.

OUR SONG launches the Wilder series from Maggie and National Excellence in Story Telling award-winner Savannah Kade. This emotional, slow-burn, friends-to-lovers rockstar romance brings all the behind-the-scenes intensity of a band on the brink—and a love fighting against the world.

A lot to take in at first. Some time to figure all of her past. Still no mention of her little girl, how she came in the picture. Some stubborn streaks arguing on her part. Why she never told him it was her brother and not her husband after she told him how he had been. So much would have changed the story if she had told him everything up front. Still could have been good on age difference and band groupies.

Aside from the overuse of blasphemy this book was disjointed and poorly written. I'm glad I didn't pay for this book, I would have demanded my money back otherwise! Do yourself a favour, leave Savannah Made on the bookshelf and get a Mills & Boon. It will be 100% on this garbage.

Wish I could give this book 💯 stars. I absolutely loved this book. I can say that I have never felt the souls of characters before but with this book Savannah Kade did an amazing job with Kelsey and JD. I had to remind myself that this is a book of fiction even know the characters all seemed so real. From page one till the last you had me hanging on every word. Thank you for writing this book, I'm hooked and downloading the entire series. Definitely recommend!
