About this ebook

When a man is found in his apartment, appearing to have committed hara kiri with a samurai sword, Boston Homicide Detective Jack Cade suspects more is going on than what it appears. The department’s criminal profiler has left and a new guy is taking his place. At first, Cade is skeptical of Dr. Michael DiSanto. DiSanto seems so absent-minded and too neurotic to be effective. Talking to ghosts? What the hell? But he is brilliant and hot and Cade finds himself falling hard and fast, both in lust and in love. The attraction is mutual, although Michael's past demons haunt him, literally and Jack is finding Michael's past is really his present. Jack has his own secret too and finds Michael's kindness growing on him, making him need the other man in a way he's never needed anyone else. Together, they close in on a killer, another brilliant, wily person whose sights are now set on Michael.

About the author

Sedonia Guillone wanted to be an author from the moment she ever read a book. From the earliest age, she sat up all night reading and began penning her first story at age nine. For years she has written romance (mostly M/M but also M/f). Her work has been published at Red Sage Secrets and Ellora’s Cave. In 2008 her gay romance, Men of Tokyo: Sudden Bliss was a Rainbow Award Finalist in the Contemporary category, a proud moment for any M/M author and her first M/M suspense, His Beautiful Samurai was required reading in an online gay and lesbian literature college course. Sedonia lives quietly in south Florida with the man she loves and her cat Molly, pictured here with her human.
