'Tease Me' is the first book in Sierra Cartwright's new series "Titans: The Reserve", which is a secret, exclusive BDSM club owned by Soren, Gabe, and Nathaniel. All dominant and competitive friends. On a side note about their friendship: the day they became friends is never discussed and referred to as the day that shall not be mentioned, so there's a large mystery there. Nathaniel works for Hawkeye as the leader of their A-Team. He's an adrenaline junkie and only visits the club when he's home on leave. This time as he visits he catches one of the club submissives yawning during a scene with one of their members and takes matters into his own hands to ensure Alani keeps her focus for the remainder of his fantasy. Unfortunately, the matter was brought to Soren her immediate boss and she was called into the office. In the meantime, Nathaniel comes into the office as well and Alani is informed Soren will be out of town and Nathaniel will be her temporary boss. The chemistry is palpable, the scenes are scorching hot, the drama is real, and the mystery swirling kept the pages turning rapidly. I can't wait to see what comes next.

All the safe, consensual reminders and tips on a trusting BDSM relationship 2. The dialogue combined with the character actions/movements really helped tell the story. More than just he said... she said... which would've left it more robotic than a well-rounded story. 3. Great characters. I totally loved Nathaniel and his possessive, alpha Dom take charge way, but also his honor, patience and tenderness. 4. Also loved Nathaniel's version of an "Alexa" home virtual assistant. She was sassy and hilarious! CONS: 1. This one bugged me, that she's a pro sub but she was mad at him and harped on it for quite a while for not going all the way after they scened for the first time. But they hadn't discussed it beforehand and her Dom didn't want to take advantage. He clearly showed her and expressed how interested he was, but he'd wait until next time. 2. This book can be read as a standalone, but there are instances that remind me that it's part of a series, like when it mentioned the name: Bonds. I didn't realize it was a person and who it was until later in the book. NOTEWORTHY: 1. Favorite quote (this quote comes after a knee-buckling, swoon-worthy kiss): He fisted her hair and tugged back her head. "Now we're clear. You belong to me, Alani." I got this ARC One day ago and barely put it down! This is a continuation of Sierra Cartwright’s Titans series. It is a “spinoff” of the Hawkeye: Denver Series, this time focusing on one of the owners’s of a private BDSM club called The Reserve. Nathaniel Stratton is an elite Black Ops member of Hawkeye’s A Team. He is often gone on long and dangerous assignments in dangerous foreign countries. He comes from a long and decorated line of military men dating back generations. It’s clear he is a very wealthy man, and a member of the Zeta Society known as Titans. He and his two best friends from college own The Reserve. Nathaniel has been, intrigued and captivated by, Alani Dane, The Reserve’s part time book keeper/part time professional submissive. Nathaniel is back in Denver for a couple of weeks and he is covering them club. He catches Alani in a horribly awkward and unfulfilling scene with a club regular. In fact, she yawns while retrained and flogged. It’s clear her mind is elsewhere. Alani knows Nathaniel SEES her, and although she claims to despise him, it’s clear she has a strong emotional and physical reaction to Master Nathanial. But Alani has walls taller than the taller mountains in Colorado. She’s determined to maintain her boundaries. To complicate matters, Alani’s sister and niece are living with her and the three are essentially hiding from her sister’s violent abuse husband who also happens to be a police officer. Alani is forced to earn money anyway she can to pay for her niece’s expensive sin addition to the lion share of the bills. The stress is daunting and Nathaniel immediately identifies Alani’s need for release. The chemistry between Alani and Nathaniel is palpable, and it keeps you locked in on the story. The scenes are intense and powerful, and Nathaniel knows immediately Alani is it for him. Things move VERY fast but it isn’t weird or wrong. They just fit. A horrible, frightening action packed incident with the ex husband happens and fortunately Nathaniel and Hawkeye are their to save the day. In the end, Alani and Nathaniel get a HEA and her sister and niece are moving forward in a good place. I can’t wait for the next in the Hawkeye series. Fair warning. Don’t start this book before bed if you need to get up in the morning, if you need to start dinner or if you need to pick the kids up from school because you won’t want to stop reading!
