Just as I was beginning to enjoy the story it ended. I am quite curious and intrigued with the smell of waffles. I hope this gets a story of its own. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ooooooo....what an entrance to a series!! MacKinnon you just dangled the waffle right in my face with this novella prequel, like seriously?! I love waffles and I love aliens so having them combined in this novella was great, I loved that the story was short and sweet but left me needing more. And, I absolutely love Penny and Qong; I can already tell this series is going to be interesting and exciting, and I am already lined up for viewing! I definitely cannot wait for the next book!!

Excellent start to a new series! I love instalove fated mate stories and this one was right up my alley. I especially loved that the human also smelled the scent…hence the waffles. This was a short, quick read with very little spice. The story ends well, but it feels incomplete. It continues in the next book, so we will likely get more about this couple later in the series. Now to grab the next one!. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
