In 1864, the Confederate Army possessed two billion dollars in gold bullion; before surrendering, the rebel soldiers buried the gold somewhere in Atlanta, Georgia. James Campbell is the author of two novels based on factual events that occurred during his thirty-seven years of working as a police officer for the Atlanta Police Department. He is the president of a non-profit organization to build a community center near his home in Georgia.
