About this ebook

It was always going to end in heartbreak.

You can't pretend-marry the man you secretly love and escape unscathed.

Ford has never hesitated to ask for my help before, but this is the farthest he's asked me to go. Not that I ever say no to him.

Even when I know I should.

Sleeping with my husband is the best worst idea possible.

It's everything I dreamed it would be.

But everything to me is nothing to him.

And he's not the only one I've made promises to.

Book Two in the Charade Series.

This second book of the Charade Series ends where it left off: the wedding day. All I wanted was for Ford and Mara "Emzee" to be happy together since they were already friends before they started this fake relationship charade. Nothing can truly be perfect - not while his parents are against it and shoving his ex in between them. Besides the trouble in paradise, Emzee's brothers had found themselves in a sticky situation in the first book that has passed on to this book. Ford and Emzee have gone through so much already. They've been friends for seven years. He was there for her when she was bullied at school because of what her father did - what his empire was built on. Emzee has since seen Ford as her hero. But is he truly that? That's the question that will be answered in the final book in this series. I have read Stefan's series, one of Emzee's older brothers. I loved it. I have yet to read to Luka's but I know I will love all the siblings and their spouses. All three series have my favorites trope arranged marriage and/or marriage of convenience and some sort of mafia involvement. I do recommend them.
