About this ebook

Fall in love with the addictive, suspenseful love story between a teenage girl and a vampire with the book that sparked a "literary phenomenon" and redefined romance for a generation (New York Times).
Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn.
Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife -- between desire and danger.
Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.
It's here! #1 bestselling author Stephenie Meyer makes a triumphant return to the world of Twilight with the highly anticipated companion, Midnight Sun: the iconic love story of Bella and Edward told from the vampire's point of view.
"People do not want to just read Meyer's books; they want to climb inside them and live there." -- Time
"A literary phenomenon." -- The New York Times

for what it is, it's written well. it lacks a lot of development of characters that a longer book would have been able to accomplish ( think 1200 pages) but for it being so short, and aimed for a younger audience it's nicely done. the entirely 1st person perspective was refreshing, and the representation of the autistic community in the main character being subtle enough that you notice but it's not the "main defining thing" is awesome to me. 5/5 for it's age range and limitations of length.

This crap is killing the vampire genre faster then any three other badly written stories. Pale skin, Gap clothes and body glitter does not make a vampire; it makes a member of a boy band. This series is just the underworld series with more fluff and less actual fighting. The only good concept is the idea that a half vampire child in the womb would try to drain all of its mother’s blood. Too bad the author chose to explore this idea in a touchy feely unicorns and bunnies style of writing. Seriously there is no character grown, no real conflict resolution, and overall no real plot. The only people that like this murder of trees (i.e. a waste of paper) are romance readers and twelve year old girls who have not discovered writing skills above what Disney and Nickelodeon allow on their pre-teen shows. I would not even rate this one star, but Google Books does not allow a lower rating. Now if you will excuse me, I have a stake through the heart to deliver to the 'person' that badgered me into reading this $&!%...

I know people keep saying this is cringey or whatever, but no matter how cringey this book may get for me, I still love it. Sometimes you have to love the cringey things in life. For what is life without the cringey moments? ✨️🤍 So glad I finally bought the entire series. Will definitely be reading Midnight Sun afterwards.
