“We are long overdue a break. Out on Top is a bag of stories where wrongs are often put right. Instead of dwelling on what might have been, characters get their chances to rectify their regrets and tidy up their troubled pasts. Once-reluctant Romeos, clever creatures and innovative new technology sees the cast of Out on Top get second chances to see the truth finally come out whether it wants to or not. From the author of In All Probability, Out on Top sees Steve Morris return to set a few things straight.” Book reviews online: PublishedBestsellers website.
About the author
By day Steve Morris teaches mathematics and science in the UK. In his spare time, Steve writes rather bizarre fiction. His modern stories have been included in a number of anthologies and magazines. Best known for the (love it/ hate it) debut 2009 short story collection In All Probability, his 2012 novel Playing Havoc (a techno-thriller) tells of life after the world’s electric fuse blows following a massive solar flare. In December 2011 he was awarded the AZsacra award for a story in the Taj Mahal Review. Love him or hate him, maverick Steve has no family but lives instead for his students, animals, the countryside and for a love for tomorrow where things will be better. He has also written a 2010 collection of twisty often gritty stories, Jumble Tales. Steve is available for interview and often has far too much to say.
