Sanders was born on April 12, 1954, in Columbia, South Carolina, and was reared in a small rural South Carolina town in the midst of farming communities in the general area of Greater Metro Columbia. Mr. Sanders gives accounts of his life as a child when he first interacted with television to his gut-wrenching, heart-pounding headaches, striving to recover from mental anguish, before serving in the U.S. Marine Corps 1975-1979, obtaining the rank of corporal while earning an Honorable Discharge, and beyond to recent times. Mr. Sanders is 46 years old.
