3.25 stars. This story is mostly dual POV, well written, and a darkly amusing, enemies to lovers, fated mates post-apocalyptic, fantasy/sci fi romance, in a world where the fantastical is still hidden, between Beyla, the female shadow walker lead, and Logan, the male half human/half dragon shifter lead. I enjoyed the world building and the community that supported Logan and, by extension, Beyla. I enjoyed Logan’s family and the set up for future stories.

I love reading about dragons, so this story was right up my alley. The story was action packed and kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I can’t wait to read more of this series. I received an ARC from Booksprout and I am leaving an honest and voluntary review.
