Another winner from Susan Stoker..I highly enjoy her writing and this one was no different. I loved Adeline and Dean together, Adeline has a service dog to alert her when she's going to have a seizure and most of her dates can handle it. Dean is a welcome surprise who sees Adeline for her and not defined be her illness. As Dean and Adeline get closer there is someone in the shadows watching and plotting. This book has passion, heart, suspense, and action that kept me on the edge of my seat. This book also sets up for the next book in the series and I can't wait to read it.

Adeline was the perfect balance between vulnerability and strength. She stood up for herself and did not let anyone walk all over her with one exception. All of Susan's heroines are strong but I think Adeline may be one of the strongest. Crash was an awesome hero. Steadfast and gentle. He did not push Adeline for anything and wanted to take things slow, as a gentleman should. He was also a dirty talker!! Yummo! I think this book is slightly more erotic than previous books in the series. There was the normal hero must save the heroine which I love, btw!! It also gives you a preview into the next book in the series. Chief and Sophie. I fell in love with Chief in this book. Just as much as I did Crash. I don't read a lot of MF books. I read mostly MM. Susan Stoker is one of my auto-buy authors. I love her writing style. I will be buying a retail copy of this book on release day. ***ARC provided for an honest review***

Wow! Just wow! Another 5 plus star read! There is so much to say about this book but simply put, wow I loved it so much, seems to cover it nicely! In fact the only bad thing about it is that it had to end. I don't want to give too many specific details about this awesome book but let me say it is a must read. Susan Stoker truly knows how to write hot sexy heroes and strong kick-ass heroines. This story is just so good. I totally adore Dean (Crash) and Adeline!! Dean is a hard working, sexy, gorgeous, and very alpha firefighter/paramedic. But he is also so sweet, loving and compassionate, just try not to fall in love with him. I know I fell and so fast too! He is for lack of a better word, dreamy. Adeline is also hard working and a beautiful woman both outside and inside (but doesn't realize her appeal) and also happens to suffer from Epilepsy. She works for a Marketing company and loves what she does. Because of her disability, she has a beautiful service dog named Coco who accompanies her everywhere. He alerts her every time she is within 10 minutes of having a seizure. He's an amazing dog. After a date gone bad, they meet at a diner and begin what will turn out to be a match for all ages. The scene in this book where he takes her home after a date and she invites him in and he says No but then goes on to explain why in explicit detail is hands down THE HOTTEST scene I have ever read when there is no actual touching involved. This makes him so completely irresistible. She fits in so well with his friends and their women. The way they deal with her epilepsy together is so heart warming. OMG, and last but not least, can I just say that the way Chief takes care of her at the conference because Dean could not be there totally endeared him to me and I cannot wait for his book!!!
