A true delight. With her deft penmanship, the author has written a delightful tale of an unlikely rake of a hero and a courageous heroine. Grace is a lovely young woman who is assaulted one day by a vile Lord, who is suspected of killing his wife. She runs away because he's in the more powerful position and buys witnesses and policemen. What follows is a tale of intrigue, mystery and many false assumptions that ends in the best possible manner. I recommend this book to anyone who loves historical romance with a twist.

Rogers is a California native, but she changed coastlines and now lives with her husband and son in romantic Savannah, Georgia, on an island populated by deer, exotic birds, turtles, and the occasional gator.
