About this ebook

Corporate slave Arihito Atobe's death in a freak bus accident marks the beginning of his new life as a kind of adventurer called a Seeker. Reborn into a fantasy world, he settles into a previously unknown job class called "rearguard," capable of providing his (all-female) party with critical attack, defense, and recovery support. And it comes with an added bonus: Simply being at the back of the party line increases his companions' fondness for him! Freed from the shackles of corporate life, Arihito is eager to start fresh as a newly minted Seeker!

Fairly standard Harem Isekai with an older, yet still impossibly dense protagonist. There are a few interesting twists in the world and the rearguard mechanics are balanced enough to keep combat from completely falling apart. Overall, it was an entertaining read from the genre, and though it wouldn't be my first recommendation, if you have run low on things to read while awaiting the next in a series, it couldn't hurt to at least pick up the free sample.

It's pretty good. The characters get introduced too quickly for my taste and I have to stop to rethink of what name was which character. Overall pretty good though. Good enough I bought the entire series after I finished reading. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Go through it again and fix some wording. Some parts are, as an example: "But is was" when "But it was" would make more sense. I know it's minor but fix these wording failures please :)
