This is a fun and steamy read about an older women and much younger man. This story is about Lachlan and Julia. This is the second story in the four part "Temptation" series. You need to read them in order because Lachlan and Julia's story began in the first on. This one does end in a cliffhanger as well. I enjoyed how their story developed. The chemistry and attraction cannot be denied. I love how the story develops with mystery, suspense and action. I enjoyed every bit of it! I cannot wait for the next part.

The story picks up where Temptation left off and we find Julia concerned whether Lachlan’s interest in her is sincere, given the surprising revelation/cliffhanger. We gain some insight into her character through details of her early life and subsequent marriage to Nick. We also find out more about Lachlan’s sister Claire and the events leading up to her death. As details come to light, it seems that Julia and Lachlan’s pasts have more in common than one would expect considering they’ve only just met. Is it merely coincidence – or something more? I’m looking forward to Provocation, to see how this tale unfolds further – especially after this latest twist. There’s plenty of drama and angst, some mystery, and suspense along with several steamy, explicit encounters. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Second book in this series, and it kept me engrossed. Romantic suspense at its best, the storyline continue with twists and turns as more is learnt about Lachlan’s sister's death. Julia and Lachlan's identities are discovered as well as links, past and secrets. I really can't wait for the ending.
