About this ebook

Most of what is known of the ancient world comes from the accounts of antiquity's own historians.

Ancient history is the aggregate of past events from the beginning of writing and recorded human history and extending as far as post-classical history.

Historians have two major ways of understanding the ancient world: archaeology and the study of source texts. Primary sources are those sources closest to the origin of the information or idea under study.

Some of the more notable ancient writers include Herodotus, Thucydides, Arrian, Plutarch, Polybius, Livy, Josephus, Suetonius, and Tacitus.

This three-volume edition presents exactly such primary sources of classical antiquity historians.

This volume contents:

1. Thucydides: The History of the Peloponnesian War

2. Herodotus: The Histories by Herodotus

3. Xenophon: Anabasis

4. Xenophon: The Polity of the Athenians and the Lacedaemonians

5. Polybius: The Histories of Polybius, in 2 vol.

6. Plutarch: Lives of the noble Grecians and Romans by Plutarch Lives: A.H. Clough

7. Strabo: The Geography of Strabo, in 3 vol.

These are the greatest history books from Antiquity. All of these stories are some of the most influential in history and represent the very foundations and cornerstone of Western Civilization and it's cultural and literature output, to this day. At this price, you'd have to be an utter FOOL to pass up buying and READING these masterpieces from the fathers of Western Civilization. In the end, you're only as stupid as you choose to be. Awaken Western Man, you are a proud people, achievers of great and glorious deeds, indeed most of the very wonders of the world, and yet today we've been beaten down by a constant barrage of propaganda from our banker overlords and their news media channels reporting the same propaganda, channel after channel, down to the same one liners, while their stranglehold on Hollywood has thoroughly corrupted our culture dumbing us down. While stoking wedge issues pushing us to fight each other, so that we don't notice the trillions the bankers have and are stealing out the back door. Search up CPI Historical, to see the greatest robbery, theft, in history, stolen from you and your family as we were set up for so much more than this by great sacrifice and struggle. Yet the bankers, oh the irony, finally got their central bank, used it to drive pro inflationary policies that have driven the costs of everything, but namely the basics of survival, like a roof over your head, to the point we are ALL life long interest slaves, I mean customers, to the very people responsible for the rising costs forcing us ALL into modern serfdom. It's time to wake up, are we still a strong people of great and glorious deeds, builders of civilizations and the modern world, leaders of cultural output, scientific development, and commerce, all built on a moral foundation as our founders intended, or are we this scared weak people, jumping at our own shadows. It's time to reclaim our heritage and history, to take back our lands and nations before it's to late. To reclaim our place in history. It starts with knowing where you come from, what your ancestors achieved knowing so much more was expected and set up for you.
