I was so excited to read another story set in Chances Inlet, and did not disappoint me. Loved Miles and Lori's romance. Miles has his future all planned out in politics and finding love was not one of them at this time. Loved how Lori called him Mr. Dudley Do Right. Lori does have a secret, that she has been hiding from everyone, that need to be taken care of. This is a fun story, plenty of romance in small town. Love the quirky residents and Miles's family are a hoot. I highly recommend this story, along with the first book in the series but can be read as a stand alone. I received this book from netgalley for an honest review.

It's not too often I read a book and want to shout out "Woo Hoo!" and throw a fist-pump in the air, but I had a few of those moments with this book. Right from the beginning, Lori and Miles are not big fans of each other. Lori is trying to fly under the radar just long enough until she can leave. Miles is in the middle of a huge political campaign, that has him in the spotlight. They are on completely different ends of the spectrum, but that doesn't stop the sparks from flying between them. What wonderful sparks they were too! Tracy Solheim did a magnificent job peeling back the layers of these characters. There were secrets, emotions, scandals, surprises, and such fierce loyalty. The strong connections between this group of friends and family created some very highly complicated situations, with some very creative solutions and even sacrifices. When I finished this book, I took a minute to soak it in, because I loved Lori and Miles' story so much. For them, Point A and Point B were practically worlds apart, but every little detail of the journey was wonderful. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This review was written by Marie for a guest review post on Ever After Book Reviews blog: 5 Stars I am in love with this book. It’s an emotionally charged, extremely well written romance that brings together an ambitious politician and a woman running from a past that she’s ashamed of. It’s smart, beautiful, and so perfectly romantic. And while both Miles and Lori come with baggage and an aversion for trust, they overcome their obstacles and discover that what they really wanted in life was each other. Ms. Solheim has a wonderful series going here, and I am extremely excited to see what she has in store for us next! ***I read and reviewed a paperback copy of the book gifted to the blog in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own***
