About the author

Dr. Trennis E. Killian was a high school English teacher until God called him into the Gospel Ministry more than thirty years ago. He immediately enrolled in seminary.

After seminary, he was a pastor for ten years. Since then, he has been a chaplain to various hospitals and police agencies.

All the time he was doing each of the above, he also served as a pastoral counselor with two different agencies.

He has always been an avid student of the Bible, always spending as much time as possible in the original Greek and Hebrew.

In 2010, wanting to do his own modified diagram of the Bible and not being allowed to do so by any of the publishers of existing translations, he set out to translate the New Testament from the Greek so he could do his modified diagram.

The result was that he published The Easy Study Bible: New Testament and The Easy Study Bible: New Testament Diagramed in 2011.

He and his wife, Ann, live in Surprise, Arizona, where he continues to study and write full time.
