About the author

Vaishnaavi Ramesh
Vaishnaavi Ramesh is an artist, a mythology enthusiast and a student of mysticism. Reviving traditional recipes is one of her passions, which she does through her YouTube channel – Vaishnavi’s Kitchen: https://bit.ly/33pnIxy. She seeks to promote and preserve age-old recipes.
Mehul Vora
Mehul Vora is a filmmaker, blogger, writer and researcher on ancient Indian history and culture. He is credited with many publications in newspapers and magazines on food history and culture. He was introduced to the vast world of food and its history while working on some projects, and since then, he has changed his approach and has started reading more about food, its history and its origin. This led to meeting with his co-author, Vaishnaavi Ramesh, who happened to be an expert in South Indian cuisines. An interesting exchange of ideas between the two led to a compilation of rational South Indian recipes and the book Southern Delicacies was born.
