Students will realize that Canada is multicultural, that some people who live in Canada came from other countries, that people of the First Nations lived here long before us, will listen to a story, will participate in a class discussion, and will locate different countries on a map or globe. This Canada lesson provides a teacher and student section with big book pattern, and flannelboard story to create a well-rounded lesson plan.
