About this ebook

A secret child. A star athlete. And a marriage of convenience that’s about to get real.

Life isn't a movie for Georgiana. As a single mom, her world revolves around her six-year-old son, Jeremy, and the quiet life they’ve built in Pittsburgh. She gave up on "happily ever after" the day her vacation romance vanished, leaving her with a son who looks exactly like the man she can’t forget.

When Jeremy begs to go to a professional baseball game, Georgiana never expects to see a familiar face on the Jumbotron. Michael Irons isn't just the league’s most valuable shortstop—he’s the father of her child.

Michael has spent seven years scanning stadium crowds for the woman who disappeared from his life. Now that he’s found her, he’s not letting go again. To secure Jeremy’s future and provide the stability Georgiana craves, Michael offers a deal: a marriage of convenience for the sake of the family.

Between high-stakes contract negotiations and the glare of the celebrity spotlight, the practical arrangement starts to feel like true love. But can a small-town mom and a world-famous player move past the secrets of the past to hit a home run for their future?

I cannot get what this book. I'm only 60 pages in and it's only talking about them wanting to have sex with each other again and then goes back and forth between that and then talking about the kid, it's really weird. It's pretty disgusting how they're thinking about sex one minute then the next minute they're thinking about their son within the same sentence, it's very off-putting. Then after just 2 days after finding each other they deside to get married? Not realistic at all. To top it off, she's also his little puppet, she does whatever he wants even when she doesnt like it. She made all the changes for him, he did nothing. I'm sorry but this book is a joke, the author sucks, clearly they don't know how to write a proper story. I don't recommend this book at all.

Rocking Player is the story of Georgiana and Michael who had a brief fling in the Bahamas 7 years ago. When they meet again, Georgiana has a son and Michael is a major league baseball player. Each is shocked when they see each other at a baseball game, Georgiana and her son in the stands and Michael on the field. They meet afterward and begin to formulate a plan for the future. While I usually enjoy this author's writing, this one just didn't grab me. I liked the characters but the storyline just seemed to stretch my imagination. For someone who took motherhood very seriously, using an analytical mind to weigh decisions regarding her son, Georgiana jumped into a relationship with both feet with little or no hesitation. So, IMHO, the story premise fell flat, making this an enjoyable read, but not up to standard I expected. 3 stars.

Great plot idea, poorly executed. Very unclear passages, poor grammar, just overall seems like it was never proofread. Couldn't even finish it.
