Cathy Brockman
I absolutely love Victoria Sue books. She has this way of not only making the book a page-turner, but you can’t wait for the next paragraph or sentence. Be sure to make time to read start to finish because you won’t want to put this down once you start. The book starts with action, great characters, intriguing backstory, and twists. Though I did figure out one of the traitors there were more twists each time you thought the suspense was concluded. This is a book two in a series but definitely a standalone. I hope book three is about Mark…Please, please, please! If you like sexy firefighters, angst, cute babies, amazing animals, twists and turns, age gap (May December), suspense, and some light but hot mansex this is for you. I highly, highly recommend this one!
Happily Ever Chapter
OMG ~ This book did NOT disappoint, it was SO DANG GOOD! POV ~> Third-person Cover – Set against a pitch black background, a firefighter is seen holding a baby. Worn out, aged looking title font is bright enough. Series and author stand out well. The synopsis sounded great! Have you ever pre-ordered a paperback based solely on the only other book you’d read by an author? I did. I loved book 1 so much that I bought it for my birthday. Then, when book 2 was announced, I bought it immediately, without reading the synopsis first. I later was provided an ARC by the publisher to review already and was NOT disappointed AT ALL! Omg, I loved Owen and Lucas. Loved their chemistry. Adored baby Mia. I was on the edge of my seat and turning pages like crazy, devouring this book. Oh, the plot twists! If you’ve not read book one, DO NOT FEAR. This book can completely stand on its own. It has NO ties to the last book! This series has easily become a #MustRead and #MustBuy for me & I look forward to the nest book! .
