About the author

Vincent Bourgeau illustrates books for children and adults since 1999 (Shhh! This Book is Sleeping ; Help! The Wolf is Coming! ; I’m Sick of It!). My Man’s a Bear is his first adult fiction book as an author.

Simon Pare translates literature, films and now illustrated books from French and German into English (Christoph Ransmayr and Anouar Benmalek among others). While hiking in the forests of Virginia last summer he ran into a bear : maybe this very same bear.
